My friend Adam sent me the link to the site “Mirrors. Photographs from the Arkansas State Prison 1915-1937.” The site features pictures of prisoners from the jail at the time, and they are insane. If only more photographs taken in this day and age could impact an equally visceral reading. The photos were printed and found by Bruce Jackson.
