Lindy Hop is an African American dance style from the late 20s which draws from multiple social dances such as the Charleston. The dance developed along with Jazz music and incorporates some of the same concepts of improvisation and solos.

Fantastic choices for videos, Alan! These are two of my favorites that obviously compliment each other so well. I can’t wait to see video of the competitions at this year’s ULHS in New Orleans last weekend.
