Apparently the curators for the 2010 New York Photo Festival have been announced. I know I should be used to this, but the lack of diversity actually shocked me when I saw the line up. This is what helps drive photography’s reputation of being a parody of itself.

It looks bad to have four old white guys but we shouldn’t presume anything. If it was 25 old white guys then we could make presumptions about the selection process.
A scientific sensibility favours NYPh here. The sample is too small to draw any conclusion.
